Love Island’s Katie Salmon BLASTS Adam Maxted over rude tweets

Wow. That escalated quickly.

Love Island Katie and Adam

Katie Salmon and Adam Maxted may have placed fourth in Love Island, but they are the big losers when it comes to love.

The pair lasted, ooh, four days tops, after the finale and didn't even make it as a couple to the wrap party.

Which is totally fine, they were never love's young dream.

But did things have to turn so nasty so quickly?

Adam was quick to refer to Katie as a bad kebab, which is pretty darn horrible from where we're sitting.

As well as making it very clear to his followers that he's single, kind of rubbing her nose in it.

And when Reveal posted an, ahem, old-fashioned tweet saying that Katie was "showing Adam what he was missing" (boak):

Adam, who appears to have vanity searched himself, responded:

But Scouse wonder Katie is not a woman to take his jibes lying down, and has blasted the fighter back, saying: "I'd rather have a kebab than a wet lettuce."

Don't be distracted by her weird leg in the photo. Her point still stands!

Katie has also criticised Adam's contribution to her four-way with Tom Powell and Sophie Gradon.

When Liana Isadora Del Rey, who – let us not forget – was also royally insulted by Adam, tweeted that 'Flex' was a bit of a spare part:

Katie responded:

Of the other Love Island top couples, Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey are being rumoured for a slot in TOWIE, and Kady McDermott plus Scott Thomas are thought to be heading for *Celebrity Big Brother*.

As for Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen… watch this space.
