Has Love Island’s Alex Bowen ALREADY moved on from Olivia Buckland?

This tweet doesn't look good, bro.

Last night, Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen came romping home to second place in the *Love Island *finale.

Which is pretty good going, especially if you consider that Alex did the dirty with Zara Holland on his first night on the show. And that he spectacularly failed a lie detector test that posed questions such as 'do you think Olivia is the most attractive girl in the villa?'.

Ouch.

Olivia, perhaps unsurprisingly, has had major trust issues with Alex during their time together on the show, but when she read out her declaration to him in the penultimate episode, she said:

"Alex, you have allowed me to learn to trust again. You’ve been the perfect gentleman and have been so patient with me and my many meltdowns…

"My feelings for you get clearer and louder every day we spend together and I cannot think of a better way to finish the* Love Island* journey than to be on your arm."

Alex cried ACTUAL TEARS FROM HIS EYES and we thought that maybe the two of them had a chance.

We may have been wrong. And Troy Frith may have been right about his former cast mate,

Alex has retweeted a message from Mark Wright (yes, that one), saying:

Bro, that is NOT the kind of thing you want to be retweeting (or thinking) if you want to reassure a woman that she can trust you.

Previously, Alex had tweeted:

But from here it seems that the future looks pretty dim for the two of them.

Vicky Pattison, Alex's former squeeze, could probably enlighten us on what life with the scaffolder is like but she's become depressingly demure since leaving *Geordie Shore *behind her.

Here's hoping we're wrong about Alex though, as we do love a happy ending. Not in the sexy massage way.
