Yesterday was a good day for Love Island’s Chris Hughes and Kem Cetinay.
Not only did the pair get to hang out backstage with their rap idol Stormzy at V Festival, they actually got the chance to show off their skills and spit some bars for him.
Kem took to social media to share the beautiful moment with his followers, posting a selfie of him, Chris and Stormzy on Instagram captioned “no caption needed.”
He then posted a video of him and Chris rapping for Stormzy.
The rumours that the Love Island duo would perform alongside Stormzy sadly proved to be untrue – but he did give them a shout out, telling the crowds: “I have had a lot of tweets about two people and whether they are going to join me on stage.
“They are not on the stage but they are right there, my brothers Kem and Chris. It’s going to pop off later.”
Anyone who watched Love Island (which is everyone) will have seen how much Chris and Kem love rapping.
And Stormzy was a big fan of the show, even appearing in one of the episodes via Skype to give Kem, Chris and Marcel Somerville some advice ahead of their talent show performance.
The artist also caused chaos in the Love Island villa when his tweet saying Chris was “too good” for his girlfriend Olivia Attwood was read out during a game.
