We are unashamedly obsessed with Love Island. From Kem giving Amber a bracelet (you can get your own here) to 'ERM, SO DID MIKE AND JESS HAVE SEX IN A HOTEL ROOM?' we cannot get enough.
We haven't been this emotionally invested in a show, since the 'Who murdered Lucy Beale' saga.
However, one of the more stable couples in the villa is in utter danger as Amber is seemingly getting 'the ick' (thanks Olivia for that one) and Kem is vowing to listen to his head. Kember are in jeporady. Uh oh.
After Amber's rather lukewarm speech about Kem at the recoupling and the usage of the word 'friends' (OWCH), the hairdressing Essex boy vents to Chris, “I’m really not happy mate. I just can’t be myself anymore. This is not Kem. When she said ‘we’ll be friends for the rest of the time.’ Muggy. Worst speech I’ve ever heard."
Very muggy.
Amber has her own concerns and tells Montana, “What’s hard for me is like, straightaway he came over, he put his arm on the bench, didn’t put his arm around me."
"Marcel came and absolutely cuddled Gabby, Jonny sat next to Camilla and cuddled her and I just feel like he doesn’t like me. He gives me this vibe that I can’t explain. I don’t know if he genuinely actually wants this to happen.”
But what about that bracelet and lemon-picking date? :(
Amber starts to cry and says, "I’m just panicking that it’s going to go wrong. And that’s the last thing I want, but it is going wrong. I really do like him. I couldn’t imagine being here without him. But I don’t know how it will work.”
The pair then have a big bust up and Kem decides to sleep on the sofa.
Kem confesses in the beach hut, "She needs to relax and enjoy it because we’re both struggling and we’re both scared and we’re both intimated by how quick things are going and how much we’re falling for each other, but she is turning a lot on me all the time"
Kem later brought in the head vs heart debate and admitted, “Now I’ve just got it in my head I wanna bin it. I think I need to go with my head you know.”
But following your heart is waaaaay more fun. Is this the end of Kember? The end of love as we know it?!?! Gabby and Marcel, don't let us down please.
