Lucy Spraggan speaks out after being attacked at Brighton gig

Singer, songwriter and all-round X Factor babe Lucy Spraggan was attacked after playing a gig in Brighton over the weekend.

According to the Mail Online, the star, who has been touring up and down the UK for the past few months, was abushed by another women and tore out clumps of her hair as well as scratching and bruising her face.

Clearly shaken after the attack, Lucy recalled the events in a post on Instagram: "Was attacked tonight after the show in Brighton, along with my guitarist and wife. Sussex Police have been amazing and are pursuing a charge.

"Got a bit of whiplash and a few bruises but we're all good. Scary s**t, man. Be safe out there!"

She later shared a picture of her bruised face that showed off the extent of her injuries.

She captioned the photo: "Sore."

A spokesman for Sussex Police confirmed to Mail Online that two women from London had been arrested and interviewed about the attack. It was understood that they were released on police bail pending further inquiries.

And being the trooper that she is, Lucy later posted a statement on her social media accounts - inisisting that her Europe tour will go ahead as planned.
