Mariah Carey takes daughter Monroe to get her FIRST ear piercings!

So it turns out Mariah Carey isn't *that *much of a diva after all. The superstar recently took her daughter Monroe to get her ear's pierced for the very first time at Claire's in Los Angeles. Cute.

The 45-year-old shared her latest outing with Monroe on Instagram and captioned her snap: "Roe Roe gets her ears pierced!!"

And while Mimi and her four-year-old were in the kiddy/teenage jewellery shop they picked up some little bits, including what looks like some lip balms and a cuddly toy.

And apart from being very busy with getting Monroe's ears pierced. Ms Carey also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last week.

Naturally Monroe and her twin brother Moroccan Cannon were on hand during the ceremony and basically stole their mum's thunder. Although Mariah didn't seem to mind.

It was also announced last week that Mariah will be guest-starring on the second season of Empire.

Now from one very famous child to another, Brooklyn Beckham was taken by his parents, David and Victoria, to get his ear pierced at the Shepherd's Bush Westfield in November last year.

They also went to Claire's - popular choice for the celebs' kids.

According to staff, David and Brooklyn sneaked into Claire's via the service corridors of Westfield in order to avoid drawing attention to themselves.

But Victoria and their other son Romeo strolled through the shopping centre and managed to go unnoticed.

Claire's store manager Joe Parker revealed Brooklyn spent 30 minutes in the shop's tiny office with David, Victoria and their two sons.
