Mario Falcone won’t be appearing on the upcoming TOWIE Marbella specials.

Damn – because we really wanted to see him in a pair of Speedos.

Mario’s been suspended from the show for a second for promoting the dubiously-named G'Rilla Burn Bullets, a diet pill, on Instagram.

A recent heat investigation showed that TV stars are getting paid thousands to post Instagram photos of products like teeth whiteners and detox supplements. But producers have viewed Mario’s promotion of diet pills as a step too far after several recent deaths from these types of pills.

TOWIE stars have a duty of care to their viewers - which Mario has flouted by getting paid to promote these pills.

A TOWIE insider told The Sun:

“Mario knows the rules and he repeatedly broke them. He seems to think he’s bigger than the show and bosses are taking a very tough line with him.

“He won’t be in the Marbella special which starts filming this weekend and his future on the show is uncertain if he doesn’t start taking the rules seriously.”

Mario, best stick to posting photos of your cute dogs next time, yeah?

Maz was also banned from TOWIE’s summer specials last year after a video allegedly showed Mario snorting drugs off a kitchen surface with a rolled-up note.

Speaking to the newspaper, Maz said: "I would like to publicly apologise to my loyal family and friends, all of my co-stars on TOWIE, to ITV and most importantly to all of the fans."
