Is there anything more awkward than bumping into your ex?
Actually, there are probably loads of things, despite MTV basing a whole show around it, but for the premise of this let's say that bumping into your ex is always a horror show.
And Marnie Simpson recently had to grit her teeth through an encounter with her Geordie Shore ex boyf (although, were they ever actually official? She did say that she loves him – but she was mortal at the time).
However, it sounds as though Marnie came off better from the encounter than Aaron Chalmers.
"I bumped into him recently and he ran away," Marnie said in her column for Star magazine.
Oh, Aaron. And soon the two of them will be in a place where Aaron can't hide. That's right, Geordie Shore series 14 is about to star filming again soon, despite series 13 not being on our telly boxes yet.
Side-point: why is *Geordie Shore'*s lead-time so long? TOWIE films a couple of days before it screens, and *Love Island */ Big Brother show the action the next day. Someone needs to pull their finger out.
ANYWAY.
"I can’t wait to go back into Geordie Shore," Marnie wrote.
"I’ll miss Lewis [Bloor - of the enormous and hairless peen], but if we’re the real deal we’ll get through this and I’m confident we will."
Well. We admire her optimism.
"I hope living with Aaron won’t be awkward," she went on.
"I know he’ll try to get with new girls to piss me off, but it won’t work. We’ll be fine after a few days."
