Marnie Simpson has responded to Stephanie Davis' claims that she and Lewis Bloor copied Steph's own relationship with Jeremy McConnell in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Speaking in her Mirror Online column, Steph revealed she thought Lewis and Marnie, who got together on CBB in January 2017, were trying to copy her and Jez.

"Loads of people have tried to copy us since, just look at Marnie Simpson and Lewis Bloor!," she said.

"They were trying to copy me and Jez so badly that you could just see through it - and look what that happened."

Now Marnie has hit back at Steph for branding her relationship a 'showmance', and took to Twitter to slam the reality TV star.

"God Stephanie Davis is such a delusional individual. I genially (sic) feel sorry for her," she shared with her one million followers.

Uh-oh! Is there going to be some major ex-CBB Twitter beef on our hands?

UPDATE

Marnie has also replied to Stephanie's tweet promoting her column about Lewis and Marnie with a screenshot of an old post showing her support for the couple.

Back in January, Steph wrote: "Ooo CBB wonder if Lewis will wait for Marnie only 6 days, not long, time will tell! Hope he's decent and waits, love em."

Marnie shared the screenshot along with a laughing-crying Emoji.

We've got a feeling this won't be the last we hear about this...

Stephanie also recently expressed her opinion of Big Brother 2017 housemate Chanelle Cleary. And she's not exactly a fan.

"To a certain extent she wants to be famous. She put herself on Ex On The Beach, and from what I can tell she was not liked on there, and from my past viewing of that I can not tell you how HORRIFIED I was by her behaviour", Stephanie revealed to the Mirror Online after her first Big Brother's Bit On The Side appearance.

She continued: "What an absolute nightmare!

"My first piece of advice for Chanelle would be, babe, don’t talk about your body parts live on TV. Secondly, just be yourself, you’re trying too hard."
