It's astonishing how patient the Friends cast are with continuing to answer questions about the series, but continue they shall because hey, supply and demand. And we definitely demand.
The latest in Friends trivia comes from Matthew Perry, who played the game Plead The Fifth on America's Watch What Happens Live, and revealed the storyline Chandler refused to go along with. Or rather, Matthew refused to go along with. We get them confused a lot.
"There was a storyline on Friends where Chandler went to a male strip joint because he really liked the sandwiches," Matthew said. "And I called up and said, 'let's not do this one'. Yes, I did [prevail]."
Nice one, Matt. We really don't want to see Chandler in a strip join eating sandwiches. Too seedy. And we're not talking about the granary bread.
This comes after he pled the fifth (meaning a pass) on a Shag, Marry, Kill question about Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Jennifer Aniston. CAN YOU IMAGINE IF HE'D ANSWERED THAT.
He also appeared confused by David Schwimmer previously claiming a no sex clause between the cast had been broken.
"I don't know, I don't know who he was referring to… I don’t think there was any sex between any of them. Or I was really missing something out on something!"
Again, really glad he kept schtum on this one. We want to remember the cast only as they were on our screens - rather than finding out what they all got up to in bed. Some things are sacred, people. And Friends - which a recent study revealed to be the second most watched Netflix show in the world - is definitely one of them.
