Last week we brought you the frankly devastating news that Pete Wicks, the self-styled gentleman of TOWIE, had been text cheating on his girlfriend Megan McKenna.
And we believed in their love, we really did. We even thought they might be the first TOWIE couple to make it up the aisle.
But now it looks as though that dream is OVER.
Megan posted an emotional Snapchat at the weekend saying that she and Pete were trying to work through things, and said: "I actually found some messages on Pete’s phone a few weeks ago and they weren’t good but I thought I’d give him another chance, as I feel like everyone deserves a second chance."
But now Megan appears to have deleted all traces of Pete from her Instagram account, including the very racy nude selfie she shared from happier times (September).
The only traces of Pete she's kept is a snap of the (no longer?) couple's matching Rolexs.
Pete bought Megan the very fancy watch for her birthday, and we now know that happened after Megan found out about the sexting. Do we smell a little guilt with that gilt?
The pair were filmed having a massive row in scenes that should show as part of The Only Way Is Marbs.
It's said that Pete was subsequently sent home from filming in Marbella and, back in Essex, he was united with his pal James Lock for a sad chat in a park.
At the time of writing, Pete's Instagram is still plastered with pictures of Megan.
Yesterday, Pete's ex-squeeze Jacqui Ryland seemed to break her silence on the affair. Other than selling her story to The Sun, obvs.
