In the most exciting baby news since little baby Bear Payne, it was announced yesterday that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting their third child.

They confirmed the news in a statement on Twitter, which read: "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child.

The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.

As with her previous two pregnancies, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Her Royal Highness will no longer carry out her planned engagement at the Hornsey Road Children's Centre in London today. The Duchess is being cared for at Kensington Palace.

This will be the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s third child. They already have George, 4, and Charlotte, 2.

And now Prince Harry has spoken publicly about his imminent new niece or nephew, saying: "Fantastic, great! Very, very happy for them."

He also spoke to Sky News about Kate, who is suffering from the same extreme morning sickness she endured during her first two pregnancies.

Harry said he hasn’t seen Kate in a while, but that he thinks “she is OK”.
