It’s been 6 years since King of Pop Michael Jackson passed away, but only now has his huge Neverland ranch gone on the market.

At $100 million dollars for the lot, something tells us that not just anybody will be able to book a house viewing.

The ranch in Los Olivos, California, reaches 2,700 acres and included a zoo and a fair ground.

Michael named his home Neverland after his favourite film, Peter Pan.

The singer bought the property in 1987 for $19.5 million and before his death was bought by Colony Capital after Michael defaulted on a loan.

Speaking to the Today show, Kyle Forsyth from Colony Capital said: "Michael's vision was to take the ranch back to its natural setting and to sell the ranch eventually.

“So we're just following through with our original vision."

He added: "We still have an affinity for Michael and a deep respect for Michael's legacy.”
