After the whole Bangerz/Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz debacle, the last thing we expected was Miley circa-that-transition-between-Hannah-Montana-to-popstar to make a return.
But it's happened, people. Her new single Malibu's very much out there, it's stripped-back (not in the Blurred Lines VMAs performance sense) and we're obsessed.
MILEY 1.0 LIVES. Ya-aaas.
Miley recently admitted she's over the whole rap/drug-fuelled stage of her career (she's been clean for a while, y'know?) and wants to return to her country-tinged roots.
Speaking of roots, she hasn't had them done in bloody ages but we kinda love it. Rocks it.
Anyway, Malibu's super chill and has proper Dolly Parton vibes. The video also makes us want a holiday, but that's a whole other story.
