Katie Hopkins was rushed to hospital after suffering an agonising shoulder injury at a London train station.

The former Apprentice contestant was treated by paramedics at Paddington after dislocating her shoulder while carrying heavy luggage.

Former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Katie was taken to St Mary’s hospital in West London after she was given gas an air by paramedics.

Her husband Mark Cross told the Sunday Mirror: “This is a legacy from her years with epilepsy.

“The staff at St Mary’s were brilliant and managed to get her patched up in a couple of hours.”

Professional blabbermouth Katie was on her way to Heathrow Airport to catch a flight to Los Angeles when she sustained her injury.

She was due to appear as a guest speaker at the Politicon event which is happening this weekend.

Her other half added: “I’m pleased to say Katie, although in a great deal of pain and doped-up, still made her flight.”

Broadcaster Katie was diagnosed with epilepsy as a teenager and underwent brain surgery last year in a bid to improve her condition.

She previously wrote for the Mail on Sunday: “A brain tumour gave me four fits a night and seizures powerful enough to throw my shoulders from their sockets 43 times in 12 months. I got to know my local A&E night-shift staff pretty well.

“There were never any guarantees with the surgery - no one could say I would make it through, or make it back as me.

“There were just percentages. The percentage chance of not making back? Less than 10. Percentage of making it back with some damage to the left arm and left leg? Much higher. Percentage of being changed? Certain.”
