N*E*R*D will DEFINITELY be recording another album, because Pharrell Williams says so.

N_E_R*D will be releasing a new album - YES this is definitely happened, because frontman Pharrell Williams has confirmed it.

During a live Twitter session, a fan asked the Happy artist: "Are you going to make another N.E.R.D album?"

To which the non-ageing singer replied: "OF COURSE!" The band, made up of Pharrizzle, Chad Hugo and Shae Haley, have not made an album since Nothing in 2010 - we need another one NOW dammit.

At the iTunes festival, during his headline set at London's Roundhouse, Pharrell hinted at a new N_E_R*D album as he was joined on stage by Shae.

"It feels good to be back in London. When we released our first album back in 2001 and first crossed the Atlantic, this was the first place to embrace us.

“You're gonna like this shit we're gonna release," Shae told the audience.

Building up further hopes to more NERD material, Pharrell then said: "There will always be an NERD. "I'm happy to be a nerd; the bullies lost, the nerds won."

Ha. Take that, bullies.

Pharrell recently shared his music video for new single Freedom.

The track is Pharrell’s next solo offering since he release G I R L – which peaked at number 36 in the UK’s Official Singles Chart.
