Big news, fans of Liam Payne and his floppy hair and his slightly grumpy demeanour and his melodic voice – he's signed a new record deal!
The One Direction singer announced today that he's signed to Capitol Records for an as-yet unknown amount – but we're guessing it's a lot more than £50 and a packet of crisps.
On Instagram, Liam added: "One Direction will always be my home and family but I'm very excited to see what this chapter brings."
He'll join the likes of 5 Seconds Of Summer, Disclosure, Katy Perry and Sam Smith at the label, along with his ex-bandmate Zayn Malik's sworn enemy Naughty Boy.
In perhaps the biggest news of the day, Liam changed the website on his Twitter bio from One Direction's official page to his own solo site, which is obvs a cause for sobbing loudly into your nearest pile of 1D paraphernalia.
His official Facebook page has also just become active for the first time since November 2014, which is pretty LOL.
And what about that LP currently gracing the home-page of his website, eh? What do you make of that?
