Katie Price is apparently set to re-launch her singing career this summer and is reported to have plans to record and release a dance track later this year.

She's said to have been spending a lot of time in the studio and has even reached out to a number of music 'gurus' to help her work on her voice.

According to The Sun, a friend of Katie revealed: "Katie’s dreamt of being a pop star her whole life, she didn’t set out to be a Page 3 model but being a professional singer is her biggest ambition.

"People may laugh at the idea of her becoming a pop star but she has the grit and determination to make it big. The single is out later this year."

Katie previously dabbled with a music career when she bid to represent Great Britain at the Eurovision Song Contest way back in 2005.

Remember that pink catsuit?

Unfortunately, the bejazzled pink number wasn't enough to take her to the finals, but Katie has since been able to have a little laugh at her own expense telling the Loose Women panel: "You’ll all probably remember because I looked absolutely ridiculous, I looked like a pink condom!"

And then there was that 2006 duet with her then husband Peter Andre. The pair performed A Whole New World from the Aladdin soundtrack for Children In Need.
