It seems like barely a week can go by without there being a new Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood controversy. Whether it's Chris's Twitter beef with fellow Islander Tyne-Lexy Clarson or Liv being spotted with her ex Bradley Dack (awks), the loved-up couple ALWAYS seem to be involved in some serious dramz. Most recently, the pair found themselves facing allegations that they knew each other BEFORE coupling up on the show. A complete shocker if true.

We didn't know what to think when Love Island fan and modern-day Miss Marple @ifyouseecait pointed out that Olivia was pictured posing with George Ray all the way back at the start of 2016. Yep, the same George Ray who Chris referred to as a 'life-long' friend on Instagram. If Liv knew one of Chris's closest pals then surely they would have moved in the same circles?

But fear not, one of the biggest love stories of our time is not a complete sham. Chris cleared up the rumours in a chat with heatworld, revealing that the caption was nothing but 'banter'. Top bantz, Chris.

"That caption was rubbish, I only met the guy the other day. I just pretended we were life-long friends," he revealed. "They were like 'write a caption that sounds really good, like we're buddies' to pretend they were my friends".

So there we have it, mystery solved.

Chris and Liv's relationship is definitely still going strong, so strong in fact that he's moved into her flat. He told us: "I'm living there every night so I'm there full-time now". Chris, who's about to take part in 5STAR's new show Celebrity Ghost Hunt Live with Charlotte Crosby and Bear, also updated us on Cash Hughes and revealed that he's looking for a nanny for his and Olivia's love child.

He told us: "Amber would probably be a good nanny, I think. She'd look after him."

We're up for it if she's busy btw, Chris.
