Harry Edward Styles – the light of our entire lives – will soon be unleashing his solo music onto the world and never have we felt so ready yet so unprepared for anything ever.
We're a little tired of listening to Don't Let Me Go on repeat tbh. WE WANT NEW HARRY AND WE WANT HIM NOW.
As you probably already know, we've been collectively losing our shit ever since we first caught wind of Harry Styles' solo career back in January. Remember those pics of him spotted at various recording studios all over the world? That beautiful Another Man mag spread, where he was interviewed by Sir Paul bloody McCartney? Or the months spent in hiding 'writing' for various different artists? All very secretive.
It was only until Harry's Columbia Records CEO fella Rob Stringer revealed that his solo stuff was 'close' that we were able to convince ourselves that all this hype was actually worth getting excited about.
Speaking to Billboard, Rob said: "We're close and we're very excited. We have a record we're incredibly excited about and it's not far away from being ready."
BUT on 25.03.2017 (the same date Liam Payne announced he was became a father. How awks), Harry Styles turned all of his social media accounts white, released a moody advert during the semi-final of The Voice UK and confirmed a release date for his new music.

Hazza 'pulled an Adele' and appeared out of the blue on an ad break of The Voice UK and everyone lost their damn minds.
The very moody ad shows Harry walking on to an empty stage and he's seen reaching out into the light whilst piano music plays in the background.

However, no one knows what Harry will do on this day. He may just release a 30 second snippet, or the single artwork. No one has a bloody clue what's going on a nd Harry's people are probably working overtime to maintain the air of mystery.
Harry could even 'do a Beyonce' and release a WHOLE VISUAL ALBUM. All at once.
And because he's Harry Styles, he can do whatever he damn wants.

A few days after releasing the moody advert, Harry updated his Twitter and Instagram icons alongside a well edge cover photo feat. supermarket basket, a phone box and loads of debris. He also shared a link to his official website, hstyles.co.uk.
When is Harry Styles' first solo performance
It looks like Harry might be performing his debut single on Saturday Night Live in New York on April 15th.
SNL's official Twitter account announced the news, posting: "Excited to announce @jimmyfallon and @Harry_Styles will be in Studio 8H on April 15! #FallonStylesSNL," with Jimmy Fallon himself saying: "So excited!!! A young heartthrob and Harry Styles will be on SNL together April 15th! #WhenHarryMetJimmy #FallonStylesSNL".

What is Harry Styles’ solo single?
No one has a clue. Could the eerie piano music playing in the background of the advert harbour a big clue? Could it be a big ballad?
Big industry website HITS Daily Double has reported that there is a 'huge buzz' around the album (well, duh) within the music industry and that Harry has apparently drawn sounds of '70's British rock' and used them as inspiration for his solo sound.

The site says: "In marked contrast to One Direction’s production by committee, Styles has crafted a set that recalls the regal high-water mark of ’70s British rock, Bowie and Queen in particular.
"The lead single, which could come out as soon as late April or early May, sounds like it would be a hit in any decade."
Eagled eyed fans are even wondering if the lead single could begin with an 'R' as he's recently had the letter 'R' inked on his arm. Could it be called Reborn? Or Raconteur?
You can even see it in the advert. Hmmmmm.
Who has Harry Styles worked with for his solo music?
Everyone and their nan has been talking about Harry's solo stuff recently– including big industry types such as Robbie Williams, Ed Sheeran, Meghan Trainor, singer/songwriter Johnny McDaid, Rydan Tedder (who has previously written for Adele and Beyonce), Nick Grimshaw, Zane Lowe, producer Jeff Bhasker and Father John Misty.
Harry's close friend Nick Grimshaw told GQ: "I think it will be good. He has good taste and he likes good music, so that usually translates. He’s into good music, so surely he’ll make good music. He recorded it in Jamaica so I’m praying it’s some awful white man reggae."
Ed Sheeran said: "Anything he puts out is going to be massive, let’s be honest. But I think it’s very good musically as well."
Whilst Father John Misty insists that Harry's solo stuff is "fucking insane."

When is Harry Styles' album release date?
We like to think we know Harry Styles' by now, but sadly, we don't.
He's notoriously private, likes to keep things low-key and rarely even tweets about what he's up to. Harry Styles lives out his life through the medium of riddles and that's what makes all this so exciting. Like Christmas.
However, Harry seems to like 'six month' chapters (those 'white squares' he posts to Insta? Almost exactly six months apart). Could we be expecting an album release date in September/October? Hmmmmm.
What will solo Harry look like?
Because what Harry Styles wears during his comeback is almost as important as what his single will sound like. He didn't win a British Fashion Award in 2013 for no reason folks.
Rumour has it that tailor Edward Sexton has been working with Harry recently and gave away a HUGE clue in a rather colourful Instagram post the other day.
Alongside a shot of multiple coloured suits (that's now been deleted), Edward wrote: "One lucky young man is going to collect a rainbow of suits today. Perhaps too bright and vibrant for some but a fun addition to a spring wardrobe. He may we'll be wearing them on stage. What a lucky chap. Enjoy."
