Paris Hilton thought she was going to die in a FAKE plane crash – how mean is that?

Paris Hilton knows a thing or two about private planes – she probably owns a whole fleet of them after all – but that didn’t stop her having a full-blown panic attack after being involved in a fake crash.

The 34-year-old socialite got pranked by Egyptian TV show Ramez In Control while in Dubai, and was crying and screaming as the plane she was on for an aerial sightseeing tour started flying erratically.

Surrounded by actors posing as fellow passengers, Paris looked scared as the pilot dipped the aircraft and made it look like they were plummeting straight to the ground.

The plane then opened up at the back and people started jumping out wearing parachutes.

After about five minutes of pure terror, the plane returned to the airport and landed safely – where it was revealed that the scary incident was all fake.

Paris was in tears when they landed, and later said that “dying in a plane is my biggest fear”.

She tweeted: “Scariest moment of my life. I really believed the plane was going to crash & we were all going to die.”

Poor Paris. No-one deserves that, surely?
