Is Perrie Edwards still in love with Zayn Malik?

Perrie Edwards had the whole world on her side when Zayn Malik dumped her – seemingly out of the blue, and BY TEXT no less – back in August 2015.

The shocking way he broke their engagement, alongside her dignity during the whirlwind of his infidelity rumours, helped make sure she came out on top in public opinion.

Since then, Zayn moved on with Gigi Hadid, while Perrie tried her hand at dating and just last week it was revealed that she and former Skins actor Luke Pasqualino had called things quits after just a month.

So what's going on? Obviously Perrie might just be enjoying single lyf (it's pretty ace, let's face it) and concentrating on her career, but heat has heard that she's also struggling to find anyone who can match up to Zayn.

“No one understands how madly in love Perrie was with Zayn – he was everything to her," our insider reckons.

“She quite liked Luke and enjoyed the attention but it wasn’t quite there between them. She knows it’s over between her and Zayn, but she wants to find that same spark she had with him. That was special.”

N'aww, Perrie love. As heat's mum once wisely said, it takes half the length of a relationship to properly get over someone – and the only good revenge is living well.

Zayn, meanwhile, has been all over New York Fashion Week with Gigi and graces the latest issue of Highsnobiety magazine, which is all very exciting. For him.
