Over the years, we've had plenty of cross-reality TV romances (Lewis Bloor & Marnie Simpson, Aaron Chalmers & Lauren Pope, Scotty T & Megan McKenna) and now we might just have a new one on our hands.
TOWIE's Pete Wicks & Made in Chelsea's Stephanie Pratt were reportedly getting cosy at an event – and boy are we excited about it!
Steph Pratt clearly has a thing for Essex boys after she got together with Joey Essex on the first series of Celebs Go Dating, but sadly they split and shattered our hopes and dreams for a Joey Essex cameo on Made in Chelsea :(
But it was reported she had a new guy to take her down to the Sugar Hut and to see the sights of Essex. After all, Pete is still nursing a broken heart after his split with Megan McKenna on the last series of TOWIE, so a blonde bombshell could be exactly what he needs to cheer him up. Match made in reality-tv heaven (we can hope anyway)
A source who had spoken to The Sun said that the Essex boy and Chelsea girl were reportedly 'getting very friendly'. 'They were giggling and chatting and taking lots of photos together'. The source also said that they 'both left in a similar direction'.
This is all a bit confusing because although we love the thought of these two getting together, Stephanie is currently supposedly dating rugby player Ollie Lindsay-Hague.
Since the reports of this dalliance came out, Pete's management played down the rumours and deemed them to be 'laughable'.
His management told The Sun, "It's laughable that Pete cannot say hello to another female without being accused of flirting… This is totally untrue. Pete was at the event for work purposes and remained professional at all times".
Guess we'll have to find a new reality TV power couple then!
