We are used to seeing Marnie Simpson getting drunk, losing her temper and having 'sexy-time' on Geordie Shore, but in an appearance on Loose Women with her mum, the self-proclaimed 'radgie' displayed a much more sensitive side.

Marnie decided to share an emotional thank you letter to her mother, thanking her for everything she has done for her, which reduced her to tears.

The Geordie lass and her mother were on the show to discuss Marnie's crazy antics on Geordie Shore, with both of them insisting that it does not affect their relationship with one another.

In response to being asked if they were best friends, Marnie said "I think that might be why I get up to all the antics that I do and I don't really think twice about it because I know that nothing really shocks me mam, we're just friends and she trusts us".

Marnie then decided to read a thank-you letter that she penned for her mother, adding "It wasn't very hard to write because I mean every single word".

"Words on paper really don't do justice for how incredible you have been and how truly special you are as a person" the Geordie lass said.

"You've always been my biggest supporter whether I've deserved it or not, you've helped me through all the obstacles in my life and stood by my side, you're my bestest friend in the whole wide world and God only knows what I did to deserve you".

Marnie went on to say that although the two of them have been through some struggles, she credits her mum for keeping her 'grounded and humble' no matter what.

She ended her letter by saying "I wouldn't change a single thing in the last 25 years, I don't care what anyone else thinks, our bond is like no other and you are one in a million, I want to say thank you for everything, love you forever and always."

Marnie's mum understandably got emotional and the two ended the interview with a warm embrace.
