We know it’s August, but as the hot weather has decided to give up on us already, here at heat towers we’ve concluded it’s absolutely an acceptable time to start counting down the days ‘til Christmas.
(Only 125 to go, FYI.)
And naturally, when preparing for the most wonderful time of the year, we had to check out the advent calenders on offer.
Sure, there's the normal array of chocolate and makeup filled ones, but when we discovered a calender filled with ACTUAL PROSECCO we couldn’t have been more excited, tbh.
The calendar, which is sold by drinks retailer, The Pip Stop, is filled with mini 20ml bottles of Prosecco, Cava and Pinot Noir to get you into the festive spirit in the run up to Crimbo.
And that’s not all. On Christmas Eve you can expect a little Laurent Perrier champagne bottle, as a special treat.

However, if you’re looking to purchase this calender of dreams, you might want to start saving the pennies already, as it retails at a whopping £125.
Yup, that’s around £5.20 for each mini bottle of fizz… although, you’d usually have to fork out around a tenner for the Laurent Perrier.
If a G & T is more up your street, you can grab yourself a gin filled advent calender for a slightly cheaper £99 as well.
Ok, its still super spenny, but we reckon with three months of budgeting it’s a worthy investment. We don’t know about you, but we’ll never be satisfied with a simple choccy calendar again.
