Celebrity Big Brother is BACK and it's brought with it a whole host of new celeb faces for us to obsess over (as well as some of our old favourites, read all about that here).
One of those new faces is none other than US RnB star Ray J, and while you may not be too familiar with his work – although, if like us, you're partial to a saucy slow-jam every now and then you will be a fan – you will definitely have heard about THAT sex tape with Kim Kardashian.

He's already caused quite a stir supposedly throwing shade at Kanye West during his entrance into the house.

Ray J was born on 17 January 1981 making him 35 and the time of writing and meaning he could celebrate a birthday in the Big Brother house. We can literally think of 42481401 other places we'd like to spend our birthday, but we've heard the Borehamwood Bungalow does put on a good birthday spread…sometimes.
Ray J's songs
Ray J's music career began in 1995 with his debut album Everything You Want however he was dropped from his record label in 1997.
In 2001 Ray J released his second studio album This Aint a Game. He followed this up with Raydiation in 2005 and All I Feel in 2008.
He is most well-known for songs, One Wish (2005), Sexy Can I (2008) and I Hit It First (2013) which is a bit rude and supposedly about his relationship with Kim Kardashian. But more on that later.
Ray J is also an actor…
As well as a music career Ray J also ventured into the realm of acting. He has appeared on a number of TV shows, including Moesha and One On One with his sister, Brandy.
He has also starred in a few films including Christmas At Water's Edge and A Day In The Life. Never heard of them? Us either, but we're desperately scouring the internet for clips RN.

Before his stint on Celebrity Big Brother, Ray J was no stranger to reality TV. He had his own reality show called For The Love Of Ray J which was a dating show focussing on finding Ray J love.
In 2010 VH1 launched Ray J and Brandy: A Family Business following Ray and his sister, Brandy in their day-to-day lives and business ventures.
Since 2014 Ray J has starred in Love And Hip Hop: Hollywood, a VH1 show following the lives of people in the hip hop industry in Hollywood.

Ray J's older sister is singer Brandy. You know? The lady responsible for the absolute anthem that is The Boy Is Mine. Ray J and Brandy have worked together on a number of tracks and TV programmes. Pretty talented family.

As you'd imagine, Kanye West and his wife's former sex-tape co-star aren't exactly BFFs. There has been plenty of shade throwing over the years.
