Ever since Perrie Edwards was first spotted cuddling up to Skins fitster Luke Pasqualino we had high hopes for the budding romance.
And THEN when Pezza confirmed the rumours herself we were overjoyed, we weren't even grossed out by their PDA snogathon all over Leigh-Anne Pinnock's birthday party.
Alas, over the years we’ve come to learn that celebrity love is sometimes a bit different to real life love, and relationships don’t always last as long as we'd like (RIP Stephanie Pratt and Joey Essex, taken too soon).
But we were still pretty devo when we heard that Luke had unfollowed Perrie on Instagram, a modern day sign the relationship is over.

Fans were pretty cut up about the split, but now reports are circulating about the real reasons behind it, and actually they kind of make sense. Kind of.
Little Mix are running around being super busy promoting their new album *Glory Days *. They're literally going up and down the country and are even heading on an international promo tour.
It's little surprise then that reports are saying the split is down to Perrie being a bit too busy for a serious relationship ATM.
"In order to commit to someone at this busy time – she'd have to be really into them," a source told the Daily Mail.
The source continued: "There wasn't that spark between them, so she's told him there won't be any romance between them moving forward. Perrie went on a few dates with Luke over the last few months - it wasn't serious but they were getting to know one another.”
Pezza herself did previously admit they weren’t too serious and were taking things slow: "We've been on a few fun dates, which is nice. It's very early days."
With the single Shout Out To My Ex (which we can’t get out of our heads, especially as it's about Zayn Malik's disappointing bedroom skills lololol) at No.1, promotion commitments and then a US tour with Ariana Grande, we can see why Pezza might not have the time to fit in a boyfriend.
We're pretty sure we can free up so time in our diary for MEGA fitlord Luke – give us a call, yeah?
