In the last episode of TOWIE, we saw Lauren Pope apparently end things with Jon Clark before they'd really started.
During a picnic date in the park, Lauren admitted she didn't trust Jon: she had heard he wasn't over his ex-girlfriend, and thought he was a "risk" romantically.
BUT in tonight's ep, it seems Lauren has cast her worries aside as things hot up between the pair – Jon and Lauren share their first kiss on-screen following a date.
And now Jon has opened up about his new relationship, telling The Sun: “There have been a lot of ups and downs, but I'd say within the last week or so we've gone up to the highest point we've been so far so I'm looking forward to seeing how things progress.
“Lauren is unlike any other girl I've ever dated - in a good way and I know a lot of people have said our relationship is crazy or strange but maybe that's the best type.”
But he also admitted that he's worried about how being on the show could affect their relationship.
This time, he said, Jon will be taking things slow, rather than jumping in quickly like he has in past relationships.
Jon has had a number of pretty public break-ups and dramas in the past – he was previously linked to Love Island's Chloe Crowhurst, who he claimed went on the show despite the fact that they were still together.
And, before joining TOWIE, Jon appeared on Love Island himself, where he met model Hannah Elizabeth. They ended up getting engaged, but soon after parted ways and called off the wedding.
Let's hope things go better for Jon and Lauren…
