Oh dear. Rita Ora’s new single Body On Me was only released a few days ago, but it’s already received its fair share of criticism thanks to Chris Brown featuring on the track.

The XFactor judge posted her new single on Twitter, only to receive backlash from fans who were angry about the collaboration.

One said: “@RitaOra Why did you have to work with Chris Brown? He's an abuser and a lowlife. Disappointing.”

Another tweeted: "I see Rita Ora has made a song with Chris Brown . Not really sure why she wants to show her young fans that she supports domestic violence," while many other called her a "traitor to women."

Loyal singer Chris Brown lost a lot of his public appeal back in 2009 when he beat up ex-girlfriend Rihanna after a Grammys party, with pictures of a bloody and bruised Rihanna being leaked online.

And although Chris was sentenced to a five-year probation and six months community service, attended domestic violence counselling, and publically apologised, many refuse to forgive and forget his violent actions.

Rita has had to defend her collaboration with Chris before, saying in June: “Chris Brown is strong, powerful and someone that is important to me personally and professionally.”

She also told The Sun newspaper: “I love him on different levels. I see how he treats his people and he's a good person with a good heart and a lovely family. "It's really nice that we finally got together because, regardless of what's happened, the song is just amazing."
