Liam Payne has been teasing us with hints into his solo career for a while now. First there were those sultry Instagram snaps which just screamed album cover.
And then in news we’d literally never thought we’d hear, rumours started flying around of a collab with Samuel Preston AKA Preston from Ordinary Boys AKA Preston from Celebrity Big Brother AKA Preston from Preston and Chantelle: An Epic Love Story (OK, we made that last one up but that relationship was the stuff of legend).
Now, the One Direction singer has returned to Facebook and he's got big news for all his fans.
Liam posted a video announcing that new music would be coming soon. WE KNOW.
In the vid, Liam tells fans: "We haven’t spoken in a while so I thought I would tune in and say hello.
"This is the studio that I’ve been working in today. I’ve been writing a song, it’s been a lot of fun.
"I’m hoping you’re going to like the music, it’s a little bit different, but it’s really nice."
GAAAHHH.
Liam is currently recording in L.A. while his girlfriend Cheryl remains at home in London.

The singer also thanked his fans for all their support, adding: "I just also wanted to say a really quick thank you to you guys for all the support.
"Obviously I see it with you guys every single day online, you guys haven’t stopped which is absolutely amazing so thank you so much for standing by me and the rest of the boys as well.
"It’s all going great and I will see you guys again very soon. The music is coming so get ready."
BUT when can we hear this new music you speak of Liam? WHENNNNN?
