Bursting onto the scene during the 2011 X Factor auditions as a fresh faced 16-year old with some SERIOUS pipes, Amelia Lily is back on our screens and causing quite the love triangle on this series of Celebrity Big Brother between herself, MIC's Sam Thompson and The Bachelorette's Chad Johnson.

How did Amelia Lily do on the X-Factor?
She's most well-known for her stint on the X Factor. She auditioned in 2011 at just 16 years old singing Janis Joplin's Take Another Piece of My Heart at her audition. With Kelly Rowland as her mentor, Amelia finished in third place on the eighth series of the show, being beaten by Liverpudlian, Marcus Collins and some band called Little Mix??
One of her most memorable performances was the fiery duet with Ms Rowland, of River Deep, Mountain High. We still get chills when we hear their high notes. Those vocal ranges tho. WOW.
What did she do after the X-Factor?
Signing a deal with Sony Music off the back of the X Factor, Amelia went straight into the studio to record her debut single You Bring Me Joy, which was released in September 2012. (We can hear you singing the chorus now, don't lie..) She then went on to release her debut album Be A Fighter on the 29th March 2013.
What happened between Amelia Lily and Niall Horan?
There had been rumours that she was romantically linked to the Irish 1D heartthrob after meeting them through the X Factor, but sadly she quickly denied them. She did, however, admit to exchanging numbers with him. (WE'LL HAVE IT!!) But then stated that she wasn't intending on pursuing things romantically as she preferred dark-haired guys!
Who has Amelia Lily dated?
Before entering the CBB house, Amelia dated famous musician Steve Rushton, who has been previously linked to none other than Wrecking Ball star, Miley Cyrus! But after a four year relationship, it seems that Amelia and Steve ended things in a bad way when she took to Instagram to post a paragraph stating: "I will not be made out to be a fool. Betrayed, cheated on, lied too, you're the most deceitful person. I should never have trusted you. 4 years clearly meant nothing to you."
Whilst she was on the X Factor, there seemed to be some flirting going on in the infamous X Factor house with fellow contestant and soon-to-be Celebs Go Dating star, Frankie Cocozza see the full line-up HERE.
But although they did go on to date after the show, their romance was not to be, lasting only very briefly.
Why is everyone talking about Amelia's Lily's pink hair?
When she first came onto our screens at her X Factor audition, she had platinum blonde hair that made her look like Christina Aguilera's doppleganger. But then the real fun began on Week 1 of the live shows when X Factor hairdresser Jamie Stevens dyed her hair a bright pink colour which gave us all SERIOUS hair envy. But it didn’t last long as she went back to her roots (literally), and dyed her hair back to blonde, opting for more sophisticated semi-final tresses.
Did Amelia branch out onto the West End?
Yes, she did! Landing the role of 'Whatsername' in Green Day's American Idiot The Musical, she toured the length and breadth of the UK last year, alongside fellow singer/songwriter Newton Faulkner who played 'Johnny'.
Amelia Lily talks about her life with diabetes.
Being diagnosed at just three and a half years old with type 1 diabetes, Amelia admits that growing up having to have injections constantly was a very difficult time for her. Speaking to Diabetes UK she said: "I did question myself for years. 'Why me? Why can't I go one day without having to have an injection?' but now I believe it's made me stronger. I think it has helped me to cope with the whole X-Factor experience. I had to mature at an early age and I had to learn to be strong. It was this strength that helped me cope when I was voted off the show – twice.
