Katie Price is never far from scrutiny. It’s barely been thirty seconds since she was criticized for calling her daughter, Princess, ugly on Loose Women, but now she’s under fire again, and this time its from her own ex-husband.
Yup, Alex Reid has suggested Katie’s recent accusation that Kieran Hayler cheated on her with their nanny, Nikki Brown, might all just be for publicity and money. Eeeek, brutal.
Speaking about her latest revelation to The Mirror, he said: “It’s extremely convenient timing, one million per cent. There’s no coincidence here. This whole situation is a great money making opportunity.”
The cage fighter even went on to suggest that Katie should take a “lie detector” if she had nothing to hide, and added: “Having been in a similar situation, and understanding how difficult it must be for Kieran I feel sorry for him. He’s clearly signed an NDA and anything he does say is being controlled by her.
“I also feel sorry for the nanny accused. There’s no factual evidence to prove what’s happened. In fact, the nanny denied everything, also claiming that Katie owes her money. Knowing Katie, it all seems very convenient. I smell a rat.”
And Alex isn’t the only person to cast doubt over Pricey’s testimony. Not surprisingly really, the nanny, Nikki, has furiously denied claims she ever slept with Kieran.
Also speaking to The Mirror, she claimed: “I did not sleep with Kieran, She’s read some emails and assumed we’re having an affair. There’s nothing intimate or sexual in them.”
This all comes just before Katie is set to embark on an eighty day tour of PA’s to meet fans across the country.
Fans were confused, days ago, when Kieran posted a video on Snapchat which apparently showed Katie snuggled up on the sofa with him watching the boxing, on the same day she’d declared that she was “heartbroken” at his behaviour.
The model declared that he had faked the post on purpose, writing: “My heart is broken , Kieran's video is fake to make it look like I'm not serious! my story in @TheSunday_Sun is totally TRUE...it's over.”
