It was only days ago that we found out the sad news that Cheryl Fernandez-Versini was splitting from her husband Jean-Bernard for good, and now close friend and ex bandmate Sarah Harding has voiced her support for Cheryl during an appearance on daytime TV show* Loose Women*.
While chatting to presenters on the show, Sarah explained how she has been supporting Cheryl through this difficult time. She said "I dropped her a text, but Cheryl's a strong girl and she'll bounce back - she always does".
She also explained how the pair were discrete with their relationship and that she had only met him a couple of years ago - "I met him a couple of years ago on Xtra Factor, when I did that. He seemed nice enough, but I didn't know them very well as a couple. Although he was always there...".
It has now also become clear that Cheryl held it together throughout the live shows of the X Factor, even though her marriage was falling apart. A source told The Sun newspaper "She pretended everything was OK on the live shows but was hurting inside. The minute the show was over she told her lawyers to get to work".
