If you're still pining for some Scarlett Moffatt magic on your TV screen, especially since the absence of her hilarious one-liners in Gogglebox and her rise to jungle queen 2016 in I'm a Celeb then you're in luck as the Alan Carr doppelgänger has got a brand new job in showbiz baby!
She's presenting a show on Channel 4! Not bad for a girl who comments on EastEnders for a living, eh.
The show is question? A remake of Channel 4's show Streetmate, which was previously fronted by Davina McCall in the 90's. The dating show, famously involves eligible people being plucked from the ... er street, being matched with members of the public. Street mate, geddit?
'I remember watching Davina on Streetmate when I was younger and thinking females can present entertainment shows too,' Scar told The Sunday Mirror. 'I want to do that when I’m older.'
Dreams CAN come true, kids.
On why Scarlett felt she was the best man for the job, she replied, 'It’s such a fun show and it’s two of my favourite things to do, chat to randomers and a love story.'
Which is very fair enough. Love is great. Scarlett is great.
The fun doesn't even stop there as the Jungle Queen is ALSO going to be co-hosting a new show with Alan Carr! Maybe it will be about twinning? Or Celebrity Doppelgangers? Or teeth?
Who bloody knows. What we do know is that 2017 is going to be a great year.
