Selena Gomez and The Weeknd are INSTA official

It’s only been two weeks since we found out that Selena Gomez and The Weeknd were dating after they were snapped snogging each others faces off outside a swanky LA restaurant.

We say snogging each others faces, we really mean Selena proved she had a VERY strong grip.

The world turned to his ex-girlfriend, Bella Hadid, who was no longer secretly scrolling through pictures of the two of them kissing.

Oh, no.

She promptly stopped following Selena on Instagram and posted a picture of herself tapping her Victoria’s Secret ass, along with a close up snap of her middle finger.

Quite a statement, we’d say.

And in the way that unfollowing someone on social media is the 2017 equivalent of Lauren Conrad’s classic, “I can forgive you … and now I can forget you,” – starting to follow someone is the epitome of romance in these Tinder times.

Meaning that now Abel Tesfaye (as his friends probs call him) and Selena are Instagram official.

Oh, yes.

The pair started following each other’s every Insta move.

Sort of like when us normal people do it, except their feeds are full of exotic holidays and expensive gifts.

Ours are full of cute snoozing cats and trying to make a Pret a Manger breakfast roll look classy.

So there you have it folks – if you want all your mates to know that you’re now in a relationship, just follow your lover on Insta and it will make it a thing.

Much easier than the old public Facebook announcement – and much less cringy when they break up with you three weeks later.
