Whether or not you've been watching The X Factor this year (if you haven't, what the ruddy hell is wrong with you - it's LITERALLY been a cray rollercoaster of emotion), the chances are you'll know a little bit about what has been happening on Simon Cowell's most lucrative cash cow. Sorry, singing competition.

As well as the usual furore around porking contestants (we're looking at you, Emily Middlemas, Ryan Lawrie and those now-sticky steps), we've seen accusations flying that Sharon Osbourne was a bit tiddly and the ACTUAL John Legend spoke his mind about the contestants.

And even if you've NEVER tuned into The X Factor, not even way back when Olly Murs was wiggling his bulge in tight silver trousers, you will have heard of Honey G.

She's a rapping delight who has had a bit of a Marmite reaction from fans, and has also been tipped as David Cameron in disguise.

Seriously.

Although people are moaning that other talented singers are being booted off in favour of 'a novelty act', her mentor, Sharon, insists that it's all down to the North Weezy bad girl's mega fans.

"Who would have thought when Honey came to audition she was going to be an internet hit?" Sharon said to The Sun.

"Love her or hate her people still want to see what she's going to do next week.

"This is a singing contest but it's also there for entertainment."

Sounds PRETTY similar to what the adorbs Relley C said about the whole debacle. If people are voting to keep her in, she deserves her spot in the competition – surely?

Come on, people. Even though her family are apparently "embarrassed" of her, she's got the full support of Snoop Dogg AND 50 Cent.

So there, HATERZ.
