They say your fifties are your new forties and Simon Cowell certainly doesn't look that different from the spring chicken of 42 we saw in the first series of Pop Idol back in 2001.
BUT you'd think that at the age of 56, to call Simon Cowell - AN ACTUAL DAD - a fatherly figure is not that big a deal.
Not so, apparently. When 28-year-old Russian model Irina Dedyuk called the judge a dad, he looked mega pissed off.
"I'm gonna sing Mama Knows Best by Jessie J, it's a song for you, Sharon, mama of The X Factor," said Irina, in scenes that will air on Sunday.
Sharon, who is mentoring the over-25s, looked suitably touched at this gesture.
But when Irina pointed at Simon while singing the lyric "daddy knows best", Simon pulled a face that said ERR, NO THANKS LOVE.
YOU'RE AN ACTUAL FATHER, SIMON. GET OVER IT. THE NEXT GENERATION HAS COME UP BENEATH YOU.

Meanwhile, Mr Grumpy Pants also got his knickers in a twist over Nicole Scherzinger's dilly-dallying.
The emosh former-Pussycat Doll made the contestants audition TWICE because she couldn't make up her mind.
Addressing the crowd, Nicole said: "You guys are making this so hard!"
Simon snapped back: "Why’s it hard? There’s only one boy standing there. One seat, one boy."
Come on Simon, have a biscuit. There's no need to get arsey.
