It's true, there's just nothing like listening to a bit of '90s pop to spice up your life every now and again - but this news has got our little fan girl pulses beating through the roof!
Little Mix have actually spoken to the Spice Girls about possibly performing all together at their 20th anniversary celebrations next year. Perrie Edwards told the Daily Star newspaper "We love the Spice Girls and want to perform with them. They know that." with Jade Thirlwall adding "Hopefully we get to support them and do a duet!". Exciting times.
But maybe we shouln't get our hopes up too much. Apparently Posh Spice (that's Victoria Beckham to anyone that didn't try and team a black leather dress with long gloves and stilettos as a kid just to look like her) isn't up for it this time around, and Little Mix's Jesy has said that "It's never the same if they don't all do it. Then again they were still succcessful when Geri (Ginger Spice) left, because they were so iconic. But it wouldn't work if Little Mix weren't all together!". Seems as though they might be sitting on the fence for this one.
So could we be in for our once-a-decade dose of Spice sometime soon? Who knows. But just the thought of it makes us want to dance around our bedrooms to 'Wannabe' - locks tied up in bunches and hairbrush in hand!
