Our fave girl band the Spice Girls are reportedly planning a reunion tour to celebrate their 20th anniversary coming up in 2016.

Well, most of the Spice Girls, as Victoria Beckham won’t say she’ll be there due to her heavy workload. sad face

According to The Sun, Mel B, Mel C, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton had a secret meeting in London last month to discuss their plans for the major reunion, and insists that they are in the process of finding a new management team and negotiating with tour promoters.

    A source told the paper:

“There is a huge demand for the Spice Girls to get back together, especially with the nostalgia around the two-decade anniversary of their first release next summer.

“Mel B flew into London last month to secretly agree the plan with the other three girls. They should each make more than ten million pounds from this.

“For a long time they put off the idea of working any projects without her because they wanted to stay as a five-piece, but with the 20th anniversary coming up they realised it was a case of now or never.”

    When five become four…

Although she’s not on board for 2016, Posh did perform with the band at the Olympics closing ceremony back in 2012.

But the messages from girls themselves is mixed, as Baby Spice stated on her Heart Breakfast radio show: “If anything happens and it’s concrete, and we decide on something, I will let you know, but nothing’s happening at the moment.”

But Mel C posted to Twitter saying: “Woke up this morning wondering whether I need to start practising my backflips???!!!”

    Answer: YES, always.

And Posh instagrammed a nostalgic pic of the Official Spice Girls Photo Album (which we totally had back in the day!) saying:

"#TBT love my Spice Girls x vb"

This is not the first time the girl power icons have got back together to please the fans and make some extra cash. In 2007 they toured as a five-some, raking in an impressive £107 million in merchandise and ticket sales. Not bad, girls. The most successful girl band in history, they have sold a staggering 85 million records worldwide.
