Pity poor Stephanie Davis.

The former *Hollyoaks *star can't even sit outside a beer garden with a pal without someone taking a photo of her swigging from a pint of lager while who knows how many months pregnant.

People have been FREAKING OUT over the picture, although Steph's people were swift to assure fans that the picture was not what it seemed, saying:

"What these cleverly timed pictures fail to show is Stephanie was drinking Diet Coke before and after having a sip of her friend's shandy – if you look closely you can see that she has that drink next to her.

"Given she was in the pub for over two hours drinking soft drinks clearly the paparazzi agency supplying these images have failed to send any of those shots and have made a story and a sale out of this moment which was only seconds of her time spent there," they told The Mirror.

No one seems to be freaking out about the Diet Coke mind, although caffeine is not great for an unborn baby: the NHS recommends no-more than 200mg a day.

ANYWAY, Steph has now broken silence on the snaps, and posted to Twitter saying:

Plus:

Does anyone know what the hydra is? Because we're really not sure.

And we couldn't help but wonder… Doesn't Steph want people to follow her out and about? Because going on *Celebrity Big Brother *isn't exactly the mark of an intensely private person is it?

Nor is announcing your pregnancy on Instagram.
