Jeremy McConnell has taken to Instagram to mock his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his unborn child Stephanie Davis, apparently.

It seems that Jeremy posted an image that throws serious shade at his ex by comparing her to Britney Spears when she shaved her head in 2007.

"Great having a laugh with the ex last ni[ght]," the picture was captioned.

It's thought that he deleted the image soon after but the internet forgets NOTHING (it was screen-grabbed by an Insty user).

The image of Britney was taken around the time she was apparently battling addiction and mental health issues. Sweet move, Jezza.

We presume that Jeremy was moved to post the snap after Steph reported that the stress of the toxic breakdown of their relationship caused her hair to fall out.

"I've been working hard to repair my hair as when I was 'blonde Steph', my hair snapped a lot and it also started to fall out with all the stress I was under. I also came up in blotches on my skin," she wrote in her blog for OK! magazine.

Jeremy has already had a dig at his former loverfor her remarks.

He posted a screen-grab of an article in which she discusses the hair-loss, and commented: "Aw stop I'm in knots, not cause you dye it white blonde from dark brown, any time I see an attention seeking article that makes me laugh I'm posting it."

He also appears to have mocked Steph's frequent Twitter references to cosy nights with her unborn bubba, posting:

Steph however, has (albeit recently) only wished good things for Jezza, if she discusses him at all.

“I have no desire publicly or otherwise to discuss that any further. I wish him all the best”

“Contrary to reports earlier this week any mention of my previous relationship was in response to questions asked..”

Maybe it's time for Jeremy to hit the 'block' button. Just a thought.
