Last week was fraught with drama for Stephanie Davis after her on/off ex-boyfriend and the father her son, Jeremy McConnell, was arrested on suspicion of assault.
Steph had previously been named as his alleged victim in reports, after sharing a picture of bruises on her legs on Snapchat.
Jeremy has since been released by police after questioning, however it is thought he still helping Merseyside Police with their investigation.
Although, reports suggest that Jeremy has 'quit Liverpool' following his arrest, and has returned to his hometown of Dublin. According to The Mirror, sources say Jeremy " has handed in his notice on his city centre apartment and moved back to Ireland."
He had previously relocated to Liverpool to be close to Stephanie in order to co-parent their son Caben-Albi.
Yesterday Steph took to Instagram to share an adorable picture of baby Caben, following these reports.
She captioned the image: "My Ray Of Sunshine.Love waking up to this little face. Makes me smile. What Sundays are all about."
With Jeremy's rumoured return to Ireland, reports suggest Steph could be raising baby Caben on her own.
Spotted leaving the police station on Thursday afternoon, the police issued the following statement about Jeremy's release: "The 27-year-old man arrested earlier today on suspicion of assault and criminal damage has been released pending a disposal decision."
This suggests that investigations are still taking place and it seems Jeremy may therefore still be involved in the police enquiries.
A representative for Jeremy previously explained: "Jeremy denies any wrong doing, however he is fully cooperating with the police in their investigations."
