Stephanie Davis forced to wear a wig after her hair fell out in her hands

Poor old Stephanie Davis has had a real time of it this year - going on CBB, getting with Jeremy McConnell while her boyfriend watched sadly from a faraway sofa, getting trolled for "faking" her pregnancy – so we're really not surprised her stress levels went through the roof.

Thankfully, all seems well and good now in Steph land (new house, imminent new baby etc etc), but she's opened up about a seriously horrific-sounding ordeal that happened to her earlier this year.

As many of you will know, Steph showcased a brand new short haircut earlier this week – and she's told us all about some serious hair trauma she suffered earlier this year.

"I've been working hard to repair my hair as when I was 'blonde Steph', my hair snapped a lot and it also started to fall out with all the stress I was under. I also came up in blotches on my skin," she wrote in her blog for OK! magazine.

"My hair went really thin and I went in to(?) total shock which was really upsetting, she continued: "If I touched it, it would just come out in my hands and I was told it was all the pressure I was under."

"A lot of people don't know this but when it was long and blonde it was actually a wig because my hair was just done for, I'd lost so much. I looked ill without it and just didn't feel human."

She also recently revealed that Jeremy McConnell won't be at the birth of their son.

She said: "He doesn’t deserve to be there. I don’t think he wants to be there either. I don’t think I could ever forgive him for how he’s been."

"I used to send him scan photos but he doesn’t care and he never has. It’s just me and my son now. I never thought he’d be that type of guy," she added to this week’s OK! Magazine.

"I really did love Jez and I tried to reach out so he wouldn’t regret missing out with his son."
