Over the past week, the rumour mill has been working tirelessly over Prince Harry's relationship status.

Amid reports of cosy dates spent together in the UK, Meghan posted a picture of two spooning bananas on her Instagram and everyone went CRAZY because this is surely a sign that they are loved up?
Doesn't EVERYONE Insta cuddling fruit to show their love?
Well it would appear it is an actual thing because for the first time since the news began circulating, Kensington Palace has spoken out about it and have CONFIRMED that Prince Harry has a girlfriend.
In a statement released on Twitter, the Royal household not only admitted that they're together, but they had some VERY strong words to say about anyone who has been bad mouthing the latest addition to the family.
In it, the Palace says: "[Harry's] girlfriend, Megan Markle, has been subject to a wave of abuse and harassment. Some of this has been very public – the smear on the front page of a national newspaper; the racial undertones of comment pieces; and the outright sexism and racism of social media trolls and web article comments."
It continues: "Prince Harry is worried about Ms. Markle's safety and is deeply disappointed that he has not been able to protect her. It is not right that a few months into a relationship with him that Ms. Markle should be subjected to such a storm."

We get that they are in the public eye but it must be SO hard dating a Royal without everyone wanting to know EVERYTHING about you.
It's scary enough bringing someone home when you're terrified your mum will whip out naked baby pics. Imagine if your new BF's nan was the ACTUAL QUEEN?
