Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell's baby is not due until January 2017 but the pair are already fighting over access to their fur baby, Simba.

Steph and Jez purchased the Pomeranian pupper in April 2016 in happier times, and often posted happy snaps with their bundle of yappy joy.

When they split, Steph became Simba's primary carer before apparently handing him over to Jeremy so that she could concentrate on her unborn baby.

But now it's alleged that Stephanie is devastated as Jeremy doesn't keep her updated about the welfare of their beloved dog.

"She's not received a single picture or update since handing him over. She's sad, misses him terribly and has no idea how he’s doing," a source told The Sun.

Steph and Jez's split was the most acrimonioius IN LIVING MEMORY and included Jeremy denying that the baby Steph is carrying is his, and Steph retaliating by saying that Jez would have to stick DNA results up his arse after the baby was born.

Steph's admitted that she was devastated when she found out she was expecting, despite her and Jeremy actively trying for a child, just weeks after meeting on Celebrity Big Brother in January 2016.

However, the former Hollyoaks actor now seems delighted about the new member of the Davis clan and regularly tweets pictures of her growing bump.

Jeremy, meanwhile, appears to have been flirting with Love Island's Malin Andersson and has shared pictures of his new nose with the world.

Jeremy's management assured us that Simba "is absolutely fine and very well loved and taken care of".
