But apparently he still hasn't met his son

Stephanie and Jeremy

It's been an eventful few days in the Stephanie Davis – Jeremy McConnell – baby daddy saga.

Last week Jeremy spoke out on This Morning, giving his side of the splitting-up-and-denying-he's-the-father story as well as taking a DNA test to determine once and for all whether Caben-Albi was his son.

Then Steph had her say, prompting to Jezza to defend himself, and then it kinda went round in circles for a bit.

BUT THEN we saw that Jeremy confirmed he was the baby's dad with heart-warming posts on Twitter and Instagram.

He captions one image of the little bubba: "I'll love this little monkey with every bit of me."

ADORBS.

Jeremy also made a step towards reconciliation with Steph by following her again on Twitter. This raised a few questions…

Does this mean they're on speaking terms again?

Or could we even see a full-on reconciliation? Is romance on the cards?

WHO BLOODY KNOWS!?

Well, now it looks as though Steph has returned the favour and the pair are trying to move forward as parents to Caben-Albi, as she has followed Jeremy back on Twitter.

It's basically a very 2017 way of calling a truce, right?

However, according to The Mirror, Jezza is still yet to actually meet his son: "We can reveal Jeremy still has not met his son and has not offered to "in the near future" but it is believed the pair are trying to sort themselves out for the baby."

Apparently the pictures used in Jezza's gushing posts are taken from Steph's facebook page.

However, another source told the paper: "Jeremy [has] every intention of meeting of his son as soon as possible - any suggestion otherwise is nonsense."

We're pretty sure we still haven't heard the last of this…
