Just when you thought a celeb pairing couldn’t get any more suprising that Liam Payne and Cheryl, news comes out actual Justin Timberlake once asked out Nicole McLean.
Obviously they are both now married and this didn’t happen remotely recently, BUT STILL.
Nicola met Justin when she was 19 and he was at the height of his NSYNC success (the good old days).
We don't know for sure, but we're guessing he looked like this when he did it.

She said: “I was asked to pose for Playboy when I was 19 and believe it or not I was too shy.
“I’m really devastated I didn’t and that was the same time I met Justin Timberlake, he asked me out and I said no to him as well,” she continued to The Sun Online.
She also revealed that Justin made a mega fashion faux pas, and it sounds like the stuff of nightmares.
“He had socks and sandals on, it wasn’t good.”
