It emerged yesterday that Britan’s Got Talent star Lagi Demetriou, the son in the duo Stavros Flatley, had been arrested over an alleged “50k cannabis factory” in his flat.
Firefighters are said to have found a watering system for 460 plants at the Enfield home when they were investigating a leak.
Lagi, now 20, appeared on the show in 2009 with his father Demetri, who is apparently convinced of his innocence.
He told The Mirror Online: "The family are so upset, not with Lagi, we know he has nothing to do with this, but with the accusations.
"We are determined to prove his innocence."
