UPDATE: Jeremy McConnell now claims he CATEGORICALLY knows he's not the father of ex Stephanie Davis' unborn baby, giving some explicit details as to why.

The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant insists he KNOWS Steph had her period after they split up, meaning it's biologically almost impossible he's going to be a dad.

"Look, if she's pregnant, it's not my kid," he told Ireland's TV Now magazine.

"It was a known thing that we spoke about after we broke up, that she came on.

"She had her period. We had been broken up."

Jeremy McConnell has spoken out against his pregnant ex Stephanie Davis to insist she’s not carrying his baby, and has branded her a “mug”.

The Irish hunk met the former Hollyoaks actress during their time in the Celebrity Big Brother house earlier this year and the pair had a rocky on-off romance before finally splitting just weeks ago.

After a huge fall-out on Twitter, Steph announced she was pregnant not long after the pair had gone their separate ways.

But Jeremy has now spoken out, claiming that, if Stephanie is pregnant, the baby isn’t his.

When asked about claims he’s going to be a father by Ireland’s TV Now Magazine, he said: “That’s ridiculous.

“I’m not going to be a dad. If she is pregnant, it’s not mine.”

Jez and Steph’s relationship was never straight forward, with both parties accusing each other of cheating numerous times this year.

But Jeremy insists that, if Stephanie does give birth and proves the baby is his, he’ll be there for the child.

He said: “If I was a dad, I’d be 100 per cent no, 110 per cent, the best dad in the world.

“But you’ll see in the future that it’s not my kid, and she’ll look like a mug.”

A representative for Stephanie told the Daily Mirror that she is “categorically pregnant”.

But, while this may be the case, Jeremy still isn’t totally sold, saying: “I still love Steph and I’d never bad mouth her, but I just think the whole thing is a media approach and it’s ridiculous.”
