One Direction made SO MUCH MONEY during their ‘hiatus’

HOW?

One Direction

The One Direction 'hiatus' was basically the worst thing to happen to us ever in our lives (bar Honey G leaving The X Factor, obvs).

Their UH-MAZING solo careers (most recently Louis Tomlinson's) have been some consolation, though.

It's now been revealed that the boys have made actually ridiculous sums of money during this time. And we are so jel.

If we took a hiatus from work we'd make a loss of approx 209299199320 pounds to Deliveroo, but there ya go.

Forbes released their (kinda depressing) list of the highest paid artists of the year, and 1D are in second place with $110 million.

The amount is taken from earnings between June 2015 – June 2016, meaning that a great big block of it was during hiatus time.

Prob from all that One Direction merchandise we've been (IRONICALLY) buying, TBH.

IN RELATED NEWS, Niall Horan recently addressed rumours that the band hate each other.

Which is basically our worst fear.

Speaking to Ryan Seacrest, he said: "We're all just kind of doing our own bits and pieces now, we're all enjoying it, we're all in touch, but I think people have this public perception that we all hate each other and One Direction is never going to happen ever again.

"I think people are making that up. We've never given any hint ... I think the media started to turn all of these words and make it seem like we all hate each other and One Direction will never happen again, which is complete bullshit. It definitely will. We're just enjoying our time."

DEFINITELY WILL!

Zayn Malik throws some subtle shade at One Direction at the AMAs. FFS, ZAYN!

Zayn Malik and Niall Horan had an AWKS meeting at the AMAs. Nothing, NOTHING, is as painful as this. Why couldn't they just embrace like long lost brothers? Jheeeze.
